2024 NPP Parliamentary Candidate Valentino Nortey Charged in US for Alleged Stabbing

The 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Klottey Korle, Valentino Nortey, has been arrested in the United States following a stabbing incident. According to abc27.com, the alleged attack occurred on Saturday, January 17, 2026, during a domestic dispute along Mayfair Drive in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

Nortey faces multiple charges, including attempted homicide, possession of an instrument of crime with intent to use, and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. Public records from the Dauphin County Prison indicate that Nortey was denied bail after his arraignment and is expected to appear in court again on January 26, 2026, for the preliminary hearing.
