According to Hazard, the French forward must lift the UEFA Champions League trophy, win LaLiga with Real Madrid, and make a deep run with the France national team at the World Cup to strengthen his chances of winning the prestigious award.
“Mbappé and the Ballon d’Or? He will win the Ballon d’Or,” Hazard said. “He needs to win the Champions League, LaLiga, or go far in the World Cup. But he will win a Ballon d’Or at some point, of course.”
Hazard expressed confidence that while Mbappe may not claim the Ballon d’Or this year, he has the quality and form to achieve it in the near future.
