Eight-year-old American singer Aura V has broken a long-standing Grammy record, becoming the youngest individually credited winner in the award’s history.
Aura V achieved the milestone at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, where she won Best Children’s Music Album alongside her father as part of their musical duo, FYÜTCH & Aura V. Their project, Harmony, earned the top honour in the children’s category.
The historic win places Aura V ahead of Blue Ivy Carter, who previously held the record after winning her first Grammy at age nine. Blue Ivy received the award for Best Music Video for her contribution to Brown Skin Girl at the 63rd Grammy Awards in 2021.
Aura V’s achievement marks a rare moment at the Grammys, highlighting the growing recognition of young talent on one of music’s biggest global stages
