Give Before You Ask – Tonto Dikeh Shares Powerful 2026 Money

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared what she calls a “small secret” that she believes could transform the financial outlook of anyone in 2026. Speaking directly to her fans in a video on her Instagram page, Tonto urged people to shift their perspective on wealth and relationships.

She advised that instead of seeing wealthy friends, family members, or influential figures only as potential helpers for future gain, people should be intentional about giving first, regardless of how small the gesture may seem.

Tonto explained that people with means receive countless requests daily, but few messages come from those simply wanting to give or show appreciation. “These people have thousands of DMs of people begging them, but not of people wanting to give them. Be different,” she said, stressing that what sets someone apart is often the willingness to act differently.

The actress emphasized that giving doesn’t have to be grand — what matters is the heart and intention behind the gesture. She reflected on a lesson from her life coach, pointing out that leadership, blessings, and opportunities often flow through those who understand the power of giving.

Tonto also observed that many people constantly request favors from those they rely on but fail to show appreciation through even a small gift or token of acknowledgment. She encouraged her fans to rethink this dynamic, highlighting that giving can create paths that are divinely orchestrated.

In the caption accompanying her video, Tonto shared a profound reflection on her own journey:

“Even in my seasons of unbelief, giving set me apart and kept me under divine preservation. The hand of God rested on my life because I practiced a covenant many ignore. My radical generosity paved paths that were divinely orchestrated. I did not give randomly; I gave strategically, by wisdom inspired from above. Scripture says, ‘A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men’ (Proverbs 18:16). I understood this principle early. I do not give only to the poor; I give to those who have capacity, because God uses men as channels. Helpers are positioned by heaven, and honour is a language they understand. ‘Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days’ (Ecclesiastes 11:1). I am a dangerous giver, and this covenant keeps me remembered, protected, and elevated. Giving has placed my name on the hearts of helpers, both locally and globally. This is not manipulation; it is kingdom intelligence. Hear this prophetically: Those who master giving will never lack lifting. Those who sow honour will reap access. Those who give by revelation will remain above, not beneath. Learn this covenant if you desire sustained relevance, divine protection, and continual favour.”
