What once looked like a fairytale built on love, laughter and viral moments has quietly come to an end.
Popular social media star Kristy Scott has filed for divorce from her husband, Desmond Scott, citing infidelity as the reason their marriage can no longer continue, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
The couple, who met when they were just 14 years old, later married in their early 20s and went on to build not just a family but an entire online brand together. They share two children, Vance and Westin.
Court filings from Harris County, Texas reveal that Kristy claims the alleged infidelity “destroyed any reasonable expectation of reconciliation,” leading her to seek a legal end to the marriage. The paperwork also notes that the pair will soon stop living together as husband and wife.
The news has come as a shock to many fans, especially as the Scotts built a strong following through joint content that showcased family life, home renovation projects, playful pranks and behind-the-scenes chaos. However, observant followers noticed that Desmond last appeared on Kristy’s TikTok page in early December.
Beyond social media, the couple also co-own Meant To Be Films, a production company focused on wedding videography and storytelling. At this time, it remains unclear what will happen to the business following their separation.
TMZ reports that representatives for both Kristy and Desmond have been contacted for comment, but no response has been given so far.
