The Super Eagles of Nigeria have secured a commanding 4–0 victory over Mozambique in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, booking their spot in the quarterfinals for the 18th time in history.
At halftime, Nigeria was already in control, leading 2–0 thanks to early strikes from Ademola Lookman in the 20th minute and Victor Osimhen just five minutes later. The quickfire goals set the tone for Nigeria’s dominance and left Mozambique struggling to find a foothold in the game.
