Actor and musician Tyler Hilton has confirmed that he and his wife, actress Megan Park, have decided to end their marriage, putting an end to growing online speculation about their relationship.
The former One Tree Hill star shared the update on Friday via a social media post, explaining that while he is usually private about his family life, he felt it was necessary to address the rumours circulating online.
“A life update: I’ve never been super comfortable sharing personal information about our family life, but I’ve seen enough speculation online that I thought warranted clarity,” Hilton wrote. “Some time ago, Megan and I decided to end our marriage.”
Hilton did not disclose when the couple separated or provide further details surrounding the decision. However, he emphasised that their focus remains firmly on their children and maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship.
“We continue to make the kids and coparenting the priority,” he added, while also asking the public to respect their privacy during this period.
Hilton and Park, best known for her role on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, have been married for several years and share children together. The couple has largely kept their relationship out of the public eye, making the announcement a rare personal disclosure from the actor.
