Opposition Parties Even Appreciate Mahama’s Performance – Oscar Bedzra

An outspoken Constituency Executive member of the governing National Democratic Congress in the Ho-Central Constituency of the Volta region, Oscar Komla Bedzra, has touted the achievements of President John Dramani Mahama.

He indicated that the sterling performance of President John Dramani Mahama within a year as Ghana’s President, comes as a surprise to many who doubted his competence prior to his re-election in the 2024 general elections, especially that of opposition political parties.

This, he said in an interview with a Takoradi-based KYZZ FM on Friday.

Oscar Bedzra believes that opposition parties including the largest opposition NPP, Alan Kyeremanteng’s United People’s Party(UPP), Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews’ GUM, and other political parties find tunes with the performance of President John Dramani Mahama.

He pointed out Gabby Asare Okyere Darko believed to be a key official of the largest opposition NPP, confessed that president Mahama is performing well.

Oscar Bedzra supported president Mahama’s performance with the fight against corruption, appreciation of the Ghanaian cedi as well as drop in fuel prices at fuel pumps across the country, adding that these have greatly led to general reduction in prices of goods and services, reduction in transport fares , as well as improved living standards of citizens.

“President John Dramani Mahama’s passion to complete unfinished road, school and hospital projects started under the erstwhile NPP administration is another credit. He deserves as trumpeted by opposition parties,” Oscar Bedzra said.

He advised appointees serving under president Mahama’s government to remain committed to the visions of Ghana’s founding fathers.
