Oscars 2026: Full List of Nominations as ‘Sinners’ Breaks All-Time Record

Hollywood’s biggest night is officially back on the calendar as the 2026 Academy Awards nominations have been unveiled, setting the tone for what is shaping up to be one of the most competitive Oscar races in years.

Leading the pack is Ryan Coogler’s vampire horror film Sinners, which has rewritten Oscar history with a staggering 16 nominations. The film earned nods in major categories including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Original Screenplay, surpassing the long-standing nomination record previously shared by classics like All About Eve, Titanic, and La La Land.

Close behind is One Battle After Another with 13 nominations, while Marty Supreme, Frankenstein, and Sentimental Value secured nine nominations each. Hamnet also made a strong showing with eight nominations, further tightening an already crowded field of awards contenders.

The 98th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, with US comedian Conan O’Brien set to host the event. With a mix of blockbuster films, indie favourites, and international standouts dominating this year’s list, anticipation is already building over which films and performances will take home Hollywood’s most coveted trophies.
