Victor Osimhen has written his name into Galatasaray history after delivering another standout performance in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Nigerian striker found the net and set up a teammate in Galatasaray’s dominant 4–0 win over Kayserispor on Sunday, continuing his impressive run in Istanbul.
With that goal, Osimhen reached a rare milestone. Data from Opta Can shows he has now converted seven penalties in the league without missing once, a feat only previously achieved by Radamel Falcao for Galatasaray since 2015.
Falcao, the former Manchester United and Chelsea forward, was until now the club’s lone player to maintain a perfect penalty record at that level. Osimhen has now drawn level with the Colombian, underlining his reliability from the spot.
The goal against Kayserispor also pushed Osimhen’s league tally to eight goals this season, reinforcing his growing influence in Galatasaray’s title push.
Attention now turns to the Turkish Cup, where Osimhen is expected to lead the line again when Galatasaray face Istanbulspor on Wednesday.
