Founder of Believers Worship Centre, Prophet Adom Kyei Duah, has stirred heavy conversation on social media after comments he made during his church’s crossover service sparked widespread reactions.
A video from the December 31, 2025 service, which surfaced online on January 1, 2026, shows the well-known preacher urging members of his congregation to sell their personal properties and follow his spiritual direction. The clip, shared widely on Instagram and other platforms, has since drawn mixed reactions, with many questioning the message and its implications.
According to Prophet Adom Kyei Duah, members who take the bold step to sell their properties will experience uncommon blessings and visible transformation in their lives.
“Listen carefully. Sell all your properties and come and buy Adom Nyame, because that is what I am offering tonight,” he told the congregation. “After you buy Adom Nyame, people around you will see what God will do through you. Prosperity will follow.”
The statement immediately raised eyebrows online, with critics accusing the prophet of promoting financial sacrifice under spiritual pressure. Supporters, however, insist the message was purely spiritual and not about material exploitation.
Addressing concerns about money and church leadership, Prophet Adom Kyei Duah was quick to defend his position, stressing that he does not beg for money or manipulate his followers for financial gain.
“If I depend on your offerings and tithes to survive, then it means the God I serve cannot provide,” he said. “That is why I am telling you to sell your properties and buy Adom Nyame.”
He further claimed that he has never used fear, panic, or false promises to extort money from church members, adding that his ministry is built on genuine spiritual experiences and testimonies.
“I will never beg to eat. I won’t lie to you or create fear just to take your money. This is the Adom Nyame I carry,” he added.
The video continues to trend online, fueling debate about religious influence, financial sacrifice, and the responsibilities of spiritual leaders in Ghana’s growing prophetic space.
