The Ghana Police Service has arrested four suspects believed to be part of a gang that carried out a string of daring robberies on jewelry shops in Accra last year.
Following the arrests, police have released chilling CCTV footage from one of the incidents, giving the public a clear look at how the gang operated.
The video, recorded on 20th October 2025 at a jewelry shop in Dzorwulu, shows one of the masked suspects violently smashing the glass door with a hammer while brandishing a gun.
The shop attendant can be seen looking terrified and shaken as the robber forces his way inside.According to police, the gang specifically targeted jewelry shops, using similar aggressive tactics to rob them.
The four suspects are currently in custody and assisting with investigations. The released footage is from just one of the robberies they are linked to, and authorities say more details may emerge as the case progresses.
