Anu Adeleke, the young woman whose mother has long claimed was fathered by Nigerian singer Davido, has made a public appeal for a DNA test to confirm her paternity. Now a teenager, Anu said she has endured years of bullying at school over her parentage.
In a heartfelt message shared online, Anu explained the challenges she has faced growing up. She said, “I was bullied in school since I was six-years-old and cried home daily. Other students laughed at me when I told them my father was Mr David Adeleke. I went through a lot of mental anguish and visited a medical professional to protect my mental health.”
Despite the difficulties, Anu has continued to excel academically, rising to the top of her class and becoming class prefect. Reflecting on her journey, she added, “As I grow older, I want to establish my identity. This DNA test is something I want. It is something that’s the right thing to do.”

Anu respectfully addressed the singer directly, urging him to consider her request. She also thanked Nigerians who have supported her emotionally over the years. Screenshots of her post and her letter are expected to circulate widely, highlighting a personal story that has captivated public attention.
