A young Lady has taken over social media in recent days, not because of drama or controversy, but simply because of how striking she looks.
Popular Instagram user Trisha, known online as “msblacknwhite,” has gone viral after sharing photos that show her living with vitiligo in a very rare and eye-catching way. What makes her case stand out is how the condition appears to divide her skin almost straight down the middle, creating what many online have described as a “black and white” split.
The photos, which began circulating widely around January 5, show the progression of her vitiligo from childhood. Early images reveal small white patches, but recent photos show a near-perfect midline split that has left many people stunned. Within hours, the images crossed 12,000 likes, with comments pouring in from all over the world.
Some social media users praised her beauty openly. Others called her “God’s most beautiful work of art,” while a few joked that she looks like a “two-in-one girl.” Many people applauded her confidence, especially after it emerged that she is now working as a professional model, turning what many once saw as a flaw into a career advantage.
But as expected on the internet, not everyone was convinced.
Skeptics quickly questioned whether the images were real. Some pointed to what they claimed were inconsistent nail colours in different photos. Others argued that vitiligo does not usually split the skin so evenly, suggesting the pictures might be AI-generated. A few also raised concerns about her social accounts being relatively new and lacking older, everyday content.
Those doubts didn’t last long.
More videos and older images of Trisha later surfaced, confirming that she is indeed real. The online conversation quickly shifted from suspicion to fascination, with many people admitting they had never seen vitiligo present itself in such a symmetrical way before.
Vitiligo is a long-term autoimmune condition that causes the skin to lose melanin, the pigment responsible for skin colour. It often appears on the face, hands, neck and other exposed areas. In most cases, the patches follow nerve pathways and are irregular, which is why Trisha’s appearance has sparked so much interest and curiosity.
Her story has also reopened conversations about beauty standards and acceptance. Well-known figures like Winnie Harlow have previously helped change perceptions around vitiligo, and Trisha’s rise is adding a new chapter to that narrative.

Some people online summed it up simply: they have seen vitiligo before, both online and in real life, but never quite like this. How the condition managed to divide her complexion almost evenly remains a mystery to many, but for most, the reaction is the same.
It looks different. It looks rare. And above all, it looks beautiful.
