Tottenham Eye Man City Keeper as Vicario Heads for the Exit

Tottenham Hotspur are set to shake up Newcastle United’s plans by targeting Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford this summer.

With first-choice keeper Guglielmo Vicario on the verge of joining Inter Milan, Spurs are actively looking for a reliable new No.1. The club sees Trafford as a strong option to step straight into the starting role.

The England international returned to his boyhood club Manchester City from Burnley last summer, but he has spent this season mostly on the bench behind Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Frustrated with his lack of game time, Trafford is keen to move on in search of regular first-team football.
