The United States Department of War has released footage showing the recent airstrikes against ISIS terrorists in northwest Nigeria. The strikes come after US President Donald Trump announced that his administration had carried out a “powerful and deadly” operation targeting Islamic State forces in the region.
According to the US Africa Command, the operation was conducted in Sokoto State under the direction of President Trump and the Secretary of War, in close coordination with Nigerian authorities. Multiple ISIS militants were reported killed during the attack, which marks a continued effort by the US to combat extremist groups threatening civilians in the region.
Videos of the strikes are now circulating online, providing a rare glimpse into the operation and the precision of the attacks. The release of the footage aims to show both the effectiveness of the mission and the US commitment to supporting Nigeria in its fight against terrorism.
