A young man has reportedly been arrested after allegedly knocking down a police officer at East Legon while driving a Honda CR-V with registration number GE-8777-20.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the driver allegedly hit the police officer, leaving some eyewitnesses angry at the scene.
The situation reportedly became tense as some members of the public nearly attacked the driver over what they considered negligent driving.
Other police officers quickly intervened and prevented the situation from escalating.
The driver was subsequently arrested by the police as investigations into the incident continue.
