Residents in parts of Accra West are currently experiencing a power outage following a fault on a transformer at Shiabu, according to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
The disruption has affected communities including Shiabu Mosque, Karikari, Olydade, and surrounding areas, leaving residents without electricity supply.
According to ECG, engineers are currently on site assessing the fault and carrying out the necessary repair works to restore power as quickly as possible. The company has assured customers that efforts are underway to resolve the issue promptly.
Residents in the affected areas have been urged to remain patient while repair works continue.
ECG has apologized for the inconvenience caused and reaffirmed its commitment to providing reliable and improved electricity supply to customers at all times.
