Ebo Noah had attracted widespread attention in recent months after constructing a massive wooden structure known as the Ebo Noah Ark. He claimed the ark was built under divine instruction following a revelation that the world would experience a catastrophic flood beginning on December 25.

The self-styled prophet went viral in August after predicting three years of continuous rainfall that would allegedly wipe out the world. He urged the public to repent, insisting that only those inside his ark would be saved from the prophesied disaster.

In the weeks leading up to December 25, videos of the expanding ark circulated widely online, drawing visitors from across Ghana and beyond. Reports also emerged last month of residents rushing to secure spaces inside one of eight arks reportedly built by Ebo Noah, fueling panic, curiosity, and intense public debate.

The developments have continued to spark national conversation around public prophecy, religious expression, and public safety, as authorities maintain that investigations are ongoing.
