Isreal DMW, singer Davido’s logistics manager, has boldly claimed that the ruling APC would struggle to secure even 200,000 votes in Edo State if the 2027 presidential election is conducted freely and fairly.
Afere made the statement on his Instagram Stories while responding to a heated protest that erupted in Ekpoma community on Saturday, January 10. Frustrated youths flooded the streets to demonstrate against the alarming rise in kidnappings across the state, tearing down political banners of President Tinubu and Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo in a show of anger.
Reacting to videos from the protest, Isreal wrote:
“Apc, won’t get 200k votes in coming Presidential election in edo state, if the election is free and fair”
The protest highlights growing frustration among residents over the security situation in Edo State, with many blaming the current administration for failing to address the kidnapping crisis.
