After several request attempts from the Ghana Police Services of they need of more tools and equipment’s to enable provide better security to Ghanaian, President John Dramani Mahama has hided to their request and has handed over 40 newly commissioned armoured operational vehicles to the Ghana Police Service, reaffirming his commitment to citizen protection and national security.
Speaking at the Police Headquarters in Accra, he said the move fulfills his administration’s pledge to modernize security agencies and equip officers for frontline duties.

The donation of vehicles is to boost capabilities and enhance national security. This move is expected to significantly improve the police’s ability to respond to security threats and maintain law and order across the country
The ceremony was attended by Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, and senior security officials.
President John Dramani Mahama arrived and inspected the guard of honor ahead of the presentation of 40 armored vehicles to the Ghana Police Service.
Also 60,000 surveillance cameras to be installed nationwide to upgrade security in Ghana.
For the first time ever, Ghana’s Government has equipped the Ghana Police Service with this level of armoured capability at a goal.
