Tottenham forward Randal Kolo Muani was involved in a car crash on the M25 after the front offside tyre of his Ferrari blew out. The 27-year-old had been travelling to Stansted Airport after training ahead of Spurs’ Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt. He escaped unharmed.

Fellow Spurs player Wilson Odobert, who was following Kolo Muani, pulled over to ensure his teammate’s safety. Images from the scene showed the front of Kolo Muani’s black Ferrari Purosangue, which is priced around £313,000 but can exceed £400,000 with optional extras. The Italian SUV is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine, hitting 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 192mph.

Spurs manager Thomas Frank confirmed both players were safe and called the incident “a minor accident.” Though they missed the squad’s initial departure, both are expected to join the team in Frankfurt and be available for the Champions League match.

Frank’s squad is already stretched thin, with just 11 senior outfield players available. Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven are also sidelined, though Van de Ven may return for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City. Despite the injury challenges, Spurs have already secured qualification for the Champions League knockout stages and will aim to finish in the top eight for a last-16 bye.
