Fuel tanker drivers in Ghana have gained a major improvement in their working conditions following the commissioning of an ultra-modern rest stop and park at the BOST Kumasi Depot.
This facility, provided by ROCK AFRICA to the National Petroleum Authority, aims to replace the risky practice of parking along busy highways when drivers are fatigued.
The new rest stop provides a dedicated space for drivers and their mates to rejuvenate during long haulage journeys. Godwin Tameklo, Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority, welcomed the project during the handover ceremony.
