Whenever heavy rains descend upon the capital, choked gutters and unpaved paths quickly turn everyday commuting into an absolute nightmare.
Community members argue that repeated appeals to local authorities have yielded nothing more than empty promises and delayed infrastructure projects. Stagnant floodwaters pose serious health hazards while damaging properties and trapping homeowners indoors during major downpours. Drivers plying these busy routes also suffer broken suspension systems due to deep craters hidden beneath murky rainwater.
The gathering serves as a fiery wake-up call to municipal leaders that patience among taxpayers has officially run dry. Protesters are demanding immediate engineering interventions rather than temporary quick fixes that wash away with the next storm. Until tangible construction equipment rolls onto their streets, the residents have vowed to keep pushing for accountability from the powers that be.
