Ibrahim Adjei, a prominent communications team member of the New Patriotic Party, has claimed that top NDC elites harbor deep anxieties regarding National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.
Speaking on Channel One TV Breakfast Daily show on May 25 2026, Adjei argued that General Mosquito remains an absolute powerhouse who could disrupt future presidential primary expectations.
According to the ruling party communicator, the anxiety grips high profile figures like Ato Forson, Julius Debrah, and Haruna Iddrisu. Adjei noted that Asiedu Nketiah’s political strength stems from being totally embedded with the party rank and file.
The National Chairman is allegedly leveraging the party 2024 electoral success to solidify his standing among delegates. Adjei points out that Asiedu Nketiah is actively reminding the base that his bold structural changes to leadership directly secured their recent victory. To ignore his influence is a massive mistake, as his open-top campaign rides through high density zones like Nima proved his magnetic pull over the core electorate.

While rumors of past friction with Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu persist, Adjei logically praised Mahama’s pragmatism.
