The atmosphere inside Kumasi at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology was pure electric energy. The National Youth Authority gathered thousands of energetic young Ghanaians for the National Youth Conference under the banner of rebuilding values and driving national development in our digital era.
Chief Executive Officer Osman Abdulai Ayariga told the youth directly that talent without solid character is a risky venture. He charged young leaders to stop waiting for tomorrow because the real work of building Ghana starts right now with everyday choices.
Character Meets Innovation
Look at how fast technology moves in Ghana today. Mobile connections tie millions of young people together in seconds, but as Ghana Youth Federation President Sherif Ghali reminded everyone, connection without clear purpose yields very little.
What the youth become is what our nation becomes. NYA stressed that real patriotism means keeping local areas clean, standing firm against corruption, and using modern digital tools to solve everyday challenges across our local communities.
Real Advocacy in Action
The conference was not just long speeches and promises. Students from Katanga Hall took the stage and boldly highlighted the high cost of campus hostel fees, catching the immediate attention of Minister George Opare Addo.
That moment showed true active leadership. Young citizens saw a pressing problem, used the platform responsibly, and demanded practical solutions. NYA reaffirmed its pledge to support youth through mentorship and genuine skills programs across the country.
