The South-East and South-South regions, which historically present highly competitive voting patterns, returned substantial figures for the incumbent administration. Imo State led the eastern block with 582,960 votes for Tinubu, while Enugu State delivered 383,382 votes.

In the oil-rich South-South delta region, Delta State turned in 407,646 votes, while Akwa Ibom State recorded 389,197 votes in favor of the President. At the final conclusion of the national collation exercise, Tinubu emerged with an official aggregate total of 10,999,967 votes, while Osifo garnered a nationwide total of 16,504 votes.
