A twenty four year old farmer named Dauda Ibrahim learned this lesson the hard way at Nsuta in the Ashanti Region.Closed circuit television cameras exposed his serial criminal acts after a local trader grew tired of continuous stock losses.Smart security tools continue to protect hardworking business owners from stubborn neighborhood thieves.
The persistent trader named Aduna Frimpomaa had suffered missing stock for roughly two years before taking matters into her own hands.She installed security cameras which quickly captured the suspect making away with gallons of local gin.Even though an initial arrest led to a family settlement, the young farmer returned weeks later to steal twenty more gallons valued at twelve thousand cedis.Security footage nailed him again without any room for denial.
Appearing before the Nsuta Circuit Court presided over by Judge Simon Nketiah Gagah, the culprit faced the full strict weight of the law.The magistrate ordered him to pay a fine of seven thousand two hundred cedis or spend three years behind bars.Investigators also tracked down an accomplice receiver who bought some of the stolen loot.Crime truly does not pay when digital lenses are watching every single move.
