The Ministry of Health has finally decided to give thirty abandoned ambulances a second chance at saving lives. Partnering with the National Ambulance Service, they handed these vehicles over to National Security for serious mechanical fixing.

These trucks have been packed tightly at the Burma Camp Air Force Base in Accra doing nothing. Government lawyers from the Attorney General office checked the legal papers and gave the green light for this smart rescue mission.

The State Transport Company already checked the engines to see what needs changing before hitting the workshop. Once the mechanics finish fixing them, every single vehicle must pass strict road tests before carrying patients.

Dr George Kojo Owusu and other top bosses witnessed the short handover ceremony at the military base. Bringing these idle machines back to life will seriously boost emergency response times across the country.
