Mahama will revive Pomadze Feed Mill to feed poultry, fish farmers

A youth activist of the main opposition political party, National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Albert Atta Opoku Vohdi, has stated that the election 2020 promise by the visionary leader, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, to revive the Gomoa Pomadze Feed Mill for the good people of Gomoaman, Effutuman and Agonaman will let the inhabitants in these constituencies vote massively for him on December 7.

The leader of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana, Maulvi Muhammad Bin Salin, during their annual festival passionately reminded the presidential candidate of the NDC to make good the promise he made to the good people in the Central Region, which is one of his best promises to Ghanaians.

Mr Atta Opoku stated that the Gomoa Pomadze Feed Mill is like a gold mine to the people in the area because in the whole world fish waste products are used to prepare poultry feed for fishmongers to make money.

Mr Opoku pointed out that fishmongers across the coastal belt in Ghana and beyond will surely benefit because there will be companies who will buy fish waste products from the fishmongers and keep them in solar designed fridges in Senya, Nyanyano, Apam, Winneba, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Axim, Keta and beyond.

This will create jobs for the good people of Ghana.

The Pomadze Feed Mill will also produce feed for fish farming, which will save Ghana from importing feed from outside and waste much of our foreign exchange on the importation of poultry feed into the country.

“The Gomoa Pomadze Feed Mill will also produce day-old chicks which will also end the importation of foreign day-old birds,” Mr. Opoku stated.

He said the NDC believed in social intervention policies such as the potential in the livestock industry which all the advanced countries depend on.

The difficulties facing the livestock business in the world is feed mill products which Ghana has the best ingredients to produce from the waste products from fishes which fishmongers will surely make money from.

Reviving Gomoa Pomadze Feed Mill is a fruitful idea and as one of the 24-Hour Economy policies, it will let farmers produce more to address the nation’s pfood crisis, particularly school feeding in both the junior and senior high schools, which has become a burden under the ruling NPP government.

He said reviving the Gomoa Pomadze Feed pMill will also lead to the establishment of state-owned farms across 15 regions, except Greater Accra Region, which is already choked.

The Gomoa Pomadze Feed Mill will also produce feed for fish farming, which is a very locative business.

The poultry waste from the birds can also be used as natural fertilizer for crop farmers

“Casting your vote for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Her Excellency Professor Mrs Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman and the Members of Parliament of the National Democratic Congress is like voting for yourself and liberating your tomorrow,” Mr Opoku stressed.

He said Mahama also promised that individuals will be given free hen coops, day-old chicks and other birds to promote the livestock business in Ghana.
