A young mother recently tasted this bitter truth after spending three long weeks locked up at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Why medical detention must end now

Government and health authorities need to find better ways to handle debt without punishing vulnerable citizens. If wealthy individuals like McBrown have to step in every time, it means the system requires urgent and total fixing.
Every mother deserves to go home and enjoy motherhood without nursing financial anxiety inside a hospital ward. Let us all emulate this wonderful act of kindness by supporting people around us who are struggling to survive. As for Nana Ama McBrown, her reward is definitely in heaven because she wiped tears from the face of a helpless mother.
