The Ghana Police Service has arrested five suspects following a bloody robbery attack that claimed the life of a gold buyer at Agona Fie near Agona Nkwanta.Armed hoodlums stormed the business premises on August 20, 2026, shooting the owner Seth Kobina in the chest.Medical officers at the hospital pronounced the victim dead shortly after the terrifying ordeal.

Intelligence units tracked down the prime suspect Emmanuel Amponsah at a local guest house leading to weapon recoveries.The main suspect unfortunately took ill shortly after his arrest and passed away at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital.Further police intelligence operations subsequently netted four other accomplices across different hideouts.

Officers apprehended Christopher Seyiri, Bashiru Ibrahim, and Thomas Odoom within the Agona Nkwanta enclave.A final team tracked down Isaac Quayeson all the way to Denkyira Kwaboso in the Western North Region.Investigators retrieved multiple firearms and dangerous implements during subsequent house searches.
