Officers executed a sharp intelligence led raid at Widana located within the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region. Law enforcement operatives caught suspects completely off guard during the swift swoop.
Authorities picked up a Burkinabe national during the operation who is currently helping police with serious investigations. Smugglers keep trying new tricks to push harmful pharmaceutical products across porous borders but security agencies remain wide awake. Unregistered or illegally channeled drugs pose massive public health threats to unsuspecting youth across local communities.
Winning the war against illicit drug trafficking requires sharp intelligence sharing and total community vigilance from every citizen. The Ghana Police Service deserves serious praise for smoking out dangerous syndicates operating in remote border sectors. Security bosses have promised to dig deeper to fish out every single accomplice connected to this massive consignment.
