Remember our social intervention policies and retain NPP – Dormaa East MP | 3News

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Dormaa East constituency, Paul Apraku Twum Barima, has urged his constituents to remember the social intervention policies put in place by the government and to continue supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The honourable Paul Apraku Twum Barima expressed that NPP is the only political party that focuses on the implementation of social intervention policies to benefit every household in the country to alleviate hardship.

Addressing a gathering of party supporters at Asuotiano in the Dormaa East constituency during a Mini rally, emphasized that the NPP has made significant strides in improving the lives of Ghanaians through initiatives such as free SHS, One District One Factory, and Planting for Food and Jobs, free Maternal care among many others have benefited the entire country hence it is important for NPP to be maintained in the forthcoming elections to continue the good policies stressing that Nana Addo during the Covid-19 era provided Ghanaians with free water and electricity, hot meal for students and other interventions which denotes the positive vision of the NPP to the progress of the country.

The MP highlighted the importance of staying united and committed to the party’s vision of development and progress for the country. He encouraged supporters to spread the message of the NPP’s achievements and to mobilize more people to join the party.

He censored the NDC severely for inflicting hardship on Ghanaians during the infamous “Dumsor” era which has been one of their legacies that signifies their unreadiness to rule the country therefore it is crucial to vote against John Mahama and the NDC to facilitate the development of Ghana.

In conclusion, the MP urged everyone to work together to ensure the success of the NPP in the upcoming elections and to continue building a stronger and more prosperous Ghana.

Dormaa East NPP Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Dauda underscored some achievements of the Member of Parliament under his first term as a Member of Parliament stating that he has facilitated the employment of many young people from the district in the security agencies, supported many in apprentice programs and has enhanced infrastructure development advocating that his hallmark as a first time MP qualifies him to lead the district again for its needed progress.

The Chief of Asuotiano, Nana Adoma Agyei, hailed the Member of Parliament for his efforts to the development of Dormaa East Constituency and encouraged him to be strong and firm ahead of the general elections because Nananom are spiritually behind him with prayers.

However, he admonished residents of Asuotiano and the entire Dormaa East to refrain from abusive language that may undermine the peace of the country before, during and after the elections.
