Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has openly expressed massive frustration over claims that the Ministry of Sports owes him five million Ghana cedis.Speaking during an explosive media interview on GHOne TV, the controversial artist alleged that his team executed extensive promotional campaigns for the Black Stars without receiving a single pesewa.
The outspoken entertainer noted that he even supported the national team with a separate one hundred thousand dollar donation alongside his promotional efforts.According to him, attempts to reach ministry officials and state leaders regarding the delayed funds have proved entirely futile as phone calls continually bounce into voicemail.
While maintaining deep admiration for President John Dramani Mahama, the musician lambasted certain government appointees for treating creative stakeholders with disrespect.He firmly warned that future collaborations with state agencies will require upfront commercial payments to avoid similar disappointments.
