A chilling and tragic situation is currently unfolding in Sunyani West. The Kobedi community is experiencing massive shock following the mysterious deaths of two consecutive headteachers at the local AME Zion Basic School.
At the center of this bizarre controversy is a mentally challenged man and a severe warning regarding the national school feeding food. The situation has escalated to the point where traditional leaders are stepping in to restore peace and order.
The bizarre chain of events started when a seemingly mentally challenged man visited the school premises one morning. He directly requested a portion of the school feeding food meant exclusively for the pupils. When the teachers and the headmaster rightfully refused his demand he issued a terrifying ultimatum. He warned that if he was not qualified to eat the food the headmaster must also never misuse the school funds or rations. He specifically threatened to kill her if she engaged in any financial mismanagement.
Tragically the headmaster fell seriously ill days after ignoring the strange warning. Medical professionals rushed her to the hospital but she unfortunately passed away on September 19 2025. This shocking incident left the entire school in absolute dismay.
Following the devastating loss educational authorities transferred a new headteacher named Gladys Adorlo Batinge to take over the school on April 19 2026. Upon her arrival the exact same mentally challenged man approached her to deliver an identical warning. He explicitly stated that if she misused the school funds he would kill her just like he killed her predecessor.
Logically most people would dismiss this as the empty ranting of an unstable individual. However fear gripped the community when Madam Gladys also fell sick shortly after the confrontation. She tragically died on May 16 2026 creating massive panic among the remaining teachers and local residents.

Faced with two unexplained deaths the Queen Mother of Kobedi decided to take immediate traditional action. She consulted the town elders to seek spiritual assistance and uncover the root cause of these tragedies. The elders determined that a specific spiritual cleansing ritual is required to pacify the situation.
The required items for this vital ritual include three sheep three cocks and three bottles of schnapps. Community leaders have already arranged these specific items to proceed with the spiritual cleansing. Furthermore the Queen Mother and the local residents have collectively decided to banish the mentally challenged man from the town to prevent any future tragedies.
