The New Patriotic Party is not taking its position in opposition lightly at all. Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has clearly outlined a strategic roadmap designed to rebuild party structures and return the NPP to power.
During an orientation session with regional organizers, women, youth, and Nasara leaders, the Effutu lawmaker emphasized that grassroots re-organization remains the ultimate foundation for electoral victory. He noted that winning elections requires a united, well-coordinated, and disciplined party hierarchy working together seamlessly.
The strategy focuses on four main pillars: deepening internal unity, restoring trust among grassroots supporters, strengthening regional coordination, and maintaining effective communication across all constituencies. Afenyo-Markin noted that these regional executives form the actual engine of political mobilization across Ghana.
Addressing ongoing political dynamics, the Minority Leader cautioned against retaliatory politics and excessive intimidation from political opponents. He reiterated that the NPP remains committed to constructive opposition, defending democratic values, and holding the current government strictly accountable to the public.
The strategic reorganization aims to build a formidable political force capable of presenting superior governance solutions. With grassroots mobilization fully underway across every region, the party leadership remains confident in regaining public mandate.
