The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has granted Manhyia South MP Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah bail of GH¢50 million with three sureties after detaining him overnight.
The MP is being investigated over alleged financial crimes involving SIC Life Savings and Loans Company Limited.
The allegations include causing financial loss, dissipation of public funds and money laundering. These allegations have not been proven in court.
