A good number of wraps and other suspected narcotics were retrieved from the suspects as physical evidence for court.

This major clampdown at Avenor and Circle is part of wider intelligence-led operations happening across major commercial centres.
Similar high-profile swoops by the special team have targeted notorious drug dens in places like Madina Market and Kumasi.
Authorities are sending a very strong signal that towns and transport yards will no longer belong to lawless syndicates.
When public spaces are safe from drug peddling, petty crimes like pickpocketing and armed robbery will also reduce drastically.
