Law enforcement officers in Ghana just busted a married couple for running a suspected drug stash. The Narcotics Control Commission stormed a residential building in Weija following strict intelligence reports. Operatives found massive sacks packed with suspected cannabis and Tramadol hidden inside the bedroom. Finding hard drugs right beside a matrimonial bed takes domestic partnership to a whole new criminal level. Authorities did not only stop at seizing illegal substances during the targeted dawn swoop.
Officers also uncovered a lethal firearm alongside several rounds of live ammunition ready for action. The suspects are currently locked up in custody assisting with ongoing investigations. Prosecutors plan to haul them before a competent court of law very soon. Intelligence-led operations by NACOC continue to smoke out pedglers across various communities.
