Concerned bystanders watched in disbelief as the underage driver navigated heavy commuter routes without adult supervision. When a shocked motorist stopped to question him about his reckless journey, the boy calmly explained that his father sent him on an errand to meet at a nearby station.
Child safety regulations strictly prohibit minors from operating commercial motorbikes and motorized tricycles on public roads. Allowing an underage child to handle such heavy machinery puts innocent pedestrians and other road users at extreme risk of fatal accidents. Parents who hand over vehicle keys to young children are not helping them mature early but rather inviting avoidable disaster.
