The High Court has dismissed a plea by Adu-Boahene seeking to expunge portions of the Attorney-General’s reply to a submission of no case in the GH₵49.1 million cybersecurity software theft case.

The decision means the court has rejected his request to remove the disputed portions of the Attorney-General’s response from the proceedings.

The case concerns allegations involving GH₵49.1 million and cybersecurity software. The submission of no case is a legal application in which an accused person argues that the prosecution has not presented sufficient evidence to require a defence.

The court’s dismissal of Adu-Boahene’s plea is a procedural development in the ongoing case. It does not, on its own, determine the accused person’s guilt or innocence.

Further details on the court’s reasoning and the next steps in the proceedings would help clarify the implications of the ruling.
