The company has apologised for the inconvenience and encouraged residents and businesses to take note of the announced schedule.
What residents and businesses should do
The planned outage could affect households, shops, offices and businesses that depend on electricity for their daily operations.
Residents are encouraged to charge mobile phones, laptops, power banks and rechargeable lamps ahead of the interruption.
Businesses that rely on electricity for production, refrigeration and other essential activities may also need to make alternative arrangements to minimise disruptions.
Customers who use electrically powered water pumps should consider storing enough water before the scheduled maintenance begins.
ECG’s announcement is a reminder for customers in the affected communities to plan their activities around the temporary interruption.
Residents are encouraged to follow official ECG communication channels for any updates to the maintenance schedule.
