Genser Energy has successfully locked down a massive four hundred and fifty six million euro credit facility to supercharge its energy infrastructure across West Africa. Rand Merchant Bank, Absa Bank, and the Standard Bank of South Africa pooled resources to arrange this heavy financial package. Chief Executive Officer Baafour Asiamah Adjei confirmed that the cash injection will clear ongoing engineering projects and strengthen the company balance sheet.
This latest deal comes hot on the heels of previous financial milestones including a major dollar refinancing in Ghana and an equipment loan in Côte d’Ivoire. Founded back in 2006, the firm already operates an extensive network of natural gas pipelines spanning hundreds of kilometers across the country. Reliable power supply remains the backbone of industrial growth and this capital proves that top tier financial institutions trust their long term vision completely.
Management plans to commission a brand new Gas Conditioning Plant and a natural gas liquids export terminal in Takoradi before the year runs out. Expanding operations into neighboring countries like Côte d’Ivoire shows they mean serious business when it comes to regional energy security. Investors love steady progress and Genser keeps delivering solid engineering solutions that power factories and light up communities without making empty noise.
