The government has officially scaled up its infrastructure roadmap by moving from six proposed mini stadiums to ten brand new facilities across the country. Sports Minister Kofi Adams made this thrilling revelation while addressing the thirty second ordinary congress of the Ghana Football Association in Prampram. Local football fans have long complained about poor pitches so this bold upgrade comes as sweet music to everyone.

Initial plans focused primarily on building modern sports arenas within the six newly created regions of the country. Authorities now want to cast their net wider to ensure every corner of Ghana gets standard facilities for competitive matches. President John Dramani Mahama wants local talents to train in environments that match international standards without struggling.

The successful TnA Stadium in Tarkwa built by Gold Fields serves as the perfect cost effective model for these upcoming projects. Government also plans to transform existing spaces like the Ho Sports Stadium into vibrant multi purpose commercial centers. Such smart investments will surely boost grassroots football development and keep community league matches very exciting.
