President John Dramani Mahama has arrived at the Accra International Airport to cut the sod for a magnificent multi-tiered and multi-purpose car park and hotel complex. This mega initiative aims to solve chronic parking shortages and elevate our main aviation gateway to global standards. Travelers who previously struggled to find safe spaces for their vehicles can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
The ambitious project features a ultra-modern seven-storey car park housing over two thousand parking bays to match rising passenger numbers.It also includes two top-tier hotels, a modern shopping mall with a buzzing food court, and flexible office rental spaces.Visitors will enjoy a breathtaking sky lounge alongside an open-air observation deck tailored for watching aircraft take off and land.
A safe pedestrian connector will link the new complex directly to the main terminal building for seamless movement.Funded via the Airport Infrastructure Development Charge, contractors expect to complete the entire development within twenty four months. Government remains heavily focused on expanding public infrastructure to fast track national development without unnecessary delays.
