"No Flirting, I Beg!" Black Sherif Shuts Down Fella Makafui Rumors

The 2026 TGMA red carpet was packed with high fashion, but it’s the high drama that has everyone talking. Black Sherif has officially issued a disclaimer regarding a viral “moment” with actress Fella Makafui, flatly denying claims that any flirting took place between the two.

“No flirting, I beg you,” the “Iron Boy” singer stated, putting a swift end to the fan theories and raised eyebrows following their red-carpet interaction. Sherif seemed determined to keep the focus on his music rather than a made-for-social-media romance.

Meanwhile, the heat hasn’t stayed solely on the stars. Red carpet host Regina Van Helvert is currently facing a wave of criticism from fans who felt her line of questioning toward Fella Makafui was awkward or out of place. It seems that at this year’s TGMA, the most intense performances happened before the awards were even handed out.

He stated categorically that nothing of that sort had happened. “No flirting, I beg you,” Black Sherif said.
