Law enforcement officers stated that his online comments crossed the line of lawful expression and risked provoking unnecessary social tension.
In a related security operation, authorities also apprehended a thirty five year old Muslim cleric named Masud Abdullah in the Ashanti Region.
The Imam allegedly delivered a fiery sermon at a local mosque in Ntensere within the Atwima Nwabiagya North District.
During that gathering, he reportedly made statements encouraging violence against anyone who dares to speak ill of Prophet Mohammed.
Both suspects remain in police custody while investigators gather evidence to ensure they face full prosecution through due legal processes.
Senior police commanders have issued a stern warning to religious leaders, preachers, and social media commentators across the nation.
Officers emphasized that freedom of worship and expression does not give anyone the license to incite public violence or promote harm against fellow citizens.
Citizens are urged to exercise extreme responsibility when sharing religious or political opinions on digital platforms that reach wide audiences.
