Life on the busy streets of Lagos can sometimes throw crazy surprises at you when you least expect it. A young fifteen year old boy named Taiye Majekodunmi found himself in hot soup after accepting a simple errand from an acquaintance.
An older individual allegedly identified as Samuel handed him a heavy loaf of bread to deliver to someone. Little did the young lad know that the baked snack was carrying a deadly secret instead of butter.
How security operatives busted the bread deal
People usually expect tasty tea bread or butter bread when someone sends them a bakery package in the neighborhood.
This particular loaf was heavier than normal because a firearm had been neatly carved inside the dough.
Law enforcement officers acting on intelligence intercepted the teenager before he could complete the delivery.
The swift arrest saved what could have been another tragic gun violence incident on the busy streets of Lagos.
Interrogation video exposes a shady friendship
A viral video capturing the police interrogation showed the young suspect looking visibly shaken while answering questions.
He confessed that his friend Samuel gave him the weapon to drop off near the Oshodi transport terminal.
When officers pressed him further about what Samuel actually did for a living, the boy admitted he had no clue.
It is a sad reminder of how bad peer pressure and wrong association can easily ruin an innocent future.

Parents and guardians must always warn their children never to carry unverified packages for friends or strangers.
Criminal elements often use unsuspecting teenagers as decoy dispatch riders because they think kids look harmless.
