The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has seized the CCTV control system at the law firm of Manhyia South MP Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah following a search of the premises.
The development was disclosed by Samuel Atta Akyea, lawyer for Baffour Awuah.
According to Atta Akyea, EOCO officers conducted a search at the law firm and took away the CCTV control system.
The reason for the seizure and whether the system is connected to the ongoing investigation have not been independently established.
Baffour Awuah is currently under investigation by EOCO over alleged financial offences. The allegations remain subject to the legal process and have not been proven in court.
